It's a good way to learn pronunciation. How are the words sung? Follow the whole sentence - some words are pronounced louder, some words disappear. Listen and copy the sounds.
What new words can you see? What do they mean? Is it a verb, noun, etc? Is there a preposition after this word? How is the vocabulary used in the sentence?
What grammar can you hear? Conditionals? Past, present or future? Modal verbs?
For more advanced students: Are there any idioms? Check to see how many words are in this idiom. Where is the verb in this idiom? Which words in the idiom can be changed (e.g. the verbs), which words cannot be changed?
